Healing Touch and Energy Medicine
Healing Touch and Energy Medicine are a co-creative mutual process between the client and practitioner. These processes support the client’s cultural/spiritual background and personal goals.
They are not substitutes for traditional health care, medical diagnosis or medical treatment for illness. Neither modality recommends nor requires a specific religious orientation or organized religious system.
Healing Touch
Healing Touch (HT) is a program in energy based therapies derived from the ancient art of hands-on-healing. The techniques taught in the program work with the energy of the body to assess and treat the body’s energy system, affecting physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health and healing. The goal of Healing Touch is to restore harmony and balance in the energy system.
Healing Touch is founded on the premise that all people have the ability to facilitate healing through compassionate intent and the balancing of the human energy field. The HT Practitioner assists the client to self-heal.
Energy Medicine
Our lives have physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects. Energy Medicine (EM) recognizes that an imbalance in any of these dimensions affects a person’s overall health and well-being.
Thoughts, experiences and beliefs that may be causing an imbalance are pinpointed and then documented using a comprehensive Energy Medicine assessment and treatment process. While thinking about an issue, interventions are applied to balance and repair energy flow with the intent to heal and transform your life.
